Inspired by my trip to Patagonia with Diana, "Tread of a Blossoming Rainbow" symbolizes the footsteps we took—especially hers. The water lillies (her favorite flower) represent every place she stepped, each one leading her to the frozen lake. In the end, it signifies her openness to embrace her past and shine brightly, like a rainbow.
Do you know why butterflies captivate us?
Do you know why butterflies captivate us?
It's not just the beauty of their wings but their courage. We often forget that transformation is not always visible at first. The butterfly begins as a humble caterpillar, but with patience it unfold it's wings. In our search, it's not struggle that define us, but the quiet strength we find in change...
Van Gogh saw this too- he wrote of caterpillars, unaware of their potential, yet destined to become something beautiful. Van Gogh painted them not to capture their beauty but to mirror their strength in their metamorphosis. For him, a butterfly was more than a creature. Like the brush strokes in his paintings, their wings whisper that life is not static. We are always becoming, always seeking. And perhaps... that's the story we need: that even in our most confined moments, there's is a promise of flight, of life unfolding in color and grace.
The butterfly doesn't ask for permission to change. It simply sheds its past and becomes something brighter - something freer.
